We were quite luke warm when Martin and Brenda suggested
that we join them for coffee and cake at the Coll de Rates restaurant. We had planned to spend the day clearing a
few outstanding tasks around the house.
It would have been rude to say no, but we decided that we
would have a healthy bowl of soup instead of cake.
But all changed when we were shown the house speciality-
home made apfel strudel. Each portion
arrives on a dinner plate with a very large slice of strudel, supported by an
equally large portion of ice cream, home made whipped cream and custard.
