It
was unfortunate that after asking the group to do this walk I was unable to
take part due to a back injury. However
Jan did join the walk. Thanks to Wendy
for the following photos.
They
followed the route from Parcent and climbed the path which had been badly
eroded by the Gota Fria in 2007. This was the
route we used to use until we started using the Baranco Negra. That route has now been ruined by part of
the path being closed by the owner of a finca at the top. The bypass avoids the “hidden valley”, which
was our favourite part of the walk.
Apparently
Wendy took this one because she knows how much I admire the flowers!
Although
it was good walking weather, it was too cold to have lunch at the usual site
with the views over Parcent and the Jalon Valley.
Monday 2 May 2016
Next
week will be Pedreguer to Castell d’ Axia.
Meet at the usual parking area at 10am.
